Aston Martin VIE GH Anniversary 100 Concept

Russian designer Grigory Gorin has envisioned a next-generation sportscar that pays homage to the 100th Anniversary of the marque.

The VIE GH Anniversary 100 Concept by Grigory Gorin combines some of the trademark proportions and design elements of the British brand with an aggressive look defined by sharp edges and a number of feature lines and sculpted elements.


The low, powerful stance is underlined by the muscular shoulders, the side air openings behind the front wheels and the wedge-shaped sill.

The overall look and proportions recalls the 2009 One-77, especially in the side and rear view: compared to it, the VIE GH appears as an evolution that adopts a more intricate, complex aesthetics.

When the car stands still, all the glass-made elements – including the headlights, tail lights and windshield – take the same shape and color as the body.


The body also features a number of active aerodynamic elements, including the side air outlets, the rear diffuser and spoiler and the front grille. The opening rate is adjusted depending on the speed and aerodynamic conditions.

As Grigory explains “I have always paid particular attention to evolution of shapes and forms of supercars through the 20th Century, so I respect established rules and principles [...] in the area of supercar design.”

The concept was conceived for a hydrogen-powered fuel cell drivetrain, with the battery pack located under the floor in the middle section of the vehicle and the tank. Power is transmitted to all wheels via four in-hub motors.
